Mandate/Objectives of KVK
  1. On-farm testing to identify the location specific of agricultural technologies under various farming systems.
  2. Organize Frontline Demonstrations to establish production potential of technologies in larger farmers’ fields
  3. Training of farmers to update their knowledge and skills in modern agriculture and allied sector technologies.
  4. Training of extension personnel to orient them to the frontier areas of technology development.
  5. To work as a resource and knowledge centre of agricultural technology to support initiatives of the public, private, and voluntary sectors to improve the agricultural economy of the district.
