Hyderabad being the poultry hub of the country, the Department of Poultry Science has a heavy responsibility in supplying the required manpower. This Department is established in the year 1965 and is offering M.V.Sc. from 1967 and Ph.D. from 1976. So far, about 200 students have completed M.V.Sc. and 30 students have completed Ph.D. degree from this Department.
